The item shops in the game are absolutely useless they mainly stock up on items found en masse by cutting bushes or breaking pots (deku seeds, bombs, arrows) that are so common, your inventory was already full before you entered the store. Secondly, the rupee problem would not be so bad if you were constantly spending them, but this is not the case. The 200 rupee wallet does not help this problem much, and the 500 rupee wallet comes way too late in the game to be useful. Over and over I would find chests containing 50 rupees in them just to put them to waste because I was already carrying 99 rupees (why couldnвЂ™t it have been 100?).

Yes, it was the most revolutionary game of its era, but is it as fun as the 3D Zelda's that came after? Would somebody who has never played a Zelda game find Ocarina of Time a better gaming experience than Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword? I doubt it. But putting off my nostalgia glasses, I cannot agree with the masses of Zelda fans that Ocarina of Time is still the best Zelda ever. It really had everything: a giant, free-roaming adventure filled with epic battles and clever puzzles, a great origin story, catchy music, and most importantly, no competition from other games that even came close to rivaling it. Like many Zelda fans my age (about 18 years old), Ocarina of Time was my first Zelda game and most memorable.
